  • How long do you perform for?
We tend to perform for 1.5 hours in total. This would be split into sets, typically x3, 30mins or x2, 45 mins etc. We can perform for longer if required which is something we can discuss.
  • Do you have your own p.a. and lighting?
Yes, we have a state of the art p.a. with digitally controlled lighting. It's good for up to 350 guests. We use a bespoke, wireless microphone set up which allows us to still roam whilst using a p.a. For larger performances, we are happy to liase with your Audio/Visual team and bring our wireless microphones to create the best possible effect for your event.
  • Can you play daytime and or evening?
Yes, we regularly perform day and evening. So, if it's a drinks reception or a full-on, dance party then no problem.
  • What do you need to know when I enquire about an event?
Great question! We would need to know, where possible: - Event Date - Venue - Approximate arrival and finish times for the band.
  • How long does it take to set up?
If we're playing acoustically, then we just need to tune up and change clothes. We tend to arrive around 1-1.5 hours before our first performance to give us time to get parked, make contact with the organisers and get ready. If we are using a p.a. then after loading in it takes up to 1 hour to set and sound check.
  • Do you need feeding?
Yes please, The band would usually expect a hot meal and soft drinks.
  • Can you learn a specific song?
No problem. If it's not already on our song list then the lovely Steve (trumpet player and band director) can take a tune and make it 'brass band friendly'. This will come at a small extra charge due to the time involved in achieving this.
  • Can you provide a DJ service?
Yes, no problem. For an extra charge, one of the guys in the band can provide a laptop DJ service for before, in between and after the band plays. This can include playing your favourite playlists from Spotify etc. We can also provide a 'full DJ service' where the tunes will be seamlessly mixed all night to keep the dance floor buzzing until the end.
  • Can we see you perform somewhere?
Yes, please check out the public performance dates area on the website and please let us know that you are coming so we can say hello.
  • Do you have Public Liability and PAT tested equipment?
Yes, we're happy to share that info with the venue and our equipment is regularly PAT tested.
  • If the venue has a noise limter, what happens?
If we're playing acoustically then no problem. If we're using a p.a. then we are happy to liase with the venue to create the most 'noise friendly' outcome.
